Vung Tau - A peaceful beach

If you come to Ho Chi Minh city and have some free days, you should visit Vung Tau - a very beautiful and peaceful beach just 100 km from HCM city. I've just visited Vung Tau with my sister last month and this is what I feel about it:

- Beach: beautiful coach with white sand and golden sun

- Hotel: I lived in Lan Rung Resort, and so happy with it: clean room, beautiful view, friendly services and price is not so expensive

- Restaurants: You shouldn't eat in a restaurant you haven't know before, especially which taxi drivers or even hotel staff recommend because they often lure you to get you pay a very high bill. Below is some suggests or you can eat in the hotels:

• Ganh Hao Restaurant - 5 Tran Phu street: seafood, good price, should make reservation 
• Vuon Bang - 37/4 Nguyen Thai Hoc street: barbecue, good price

• Banh Khot: Goc Cay Vu Sua restaurant, Nguyen Truong To street
• Mon - Fri: 4PM - 7PM
• Sat - Sun: 7AM - 7PM
• Banh Xeo: Ly Tu Trong Street: 4PM - 10PM

And you should be careful when go anywhere by taxi because taxi drivers often go around to make more money. You can take a map or ask hotel receptionist before going.
